2024-02-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICS EDUCATION https://ejournal.universitasmandiri.ac.id/index.php/joume/article/view/66 PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN THINKING ALOUD PAIR PROBLEM SOLVING (TAPPS) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA 2023-11-01T02:38:04+00:00 Syeepa Nandita Romanisti syeefanandita@gmail.com Anwar Sadat mocsadatanwar@gmail.com M. Iqbal Harisuddin akyssa.2@gmail.com
This study aimed to determine the difference in improved mathematical communication skills between students who acquired Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) learning models and students acquiring conventional learning. The method used in this study was a pseudo experimental method (Quasi Experiment) with a nonequivalent pretest-postest control group design. The population in this study was all students of class XI SMKS Termedu Lampang while the sample in this study was class XI OTKP which was the experimental class and class XI TKJ which was the control class. Materials provided regarding the Linear Program. The instruments used in this study are test instruments in the form of pretest-posttest. Based on the data processing results, the improvement of the mathematical communication skills of Shiva using the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) model was significantly better than conventional learning, the results of the Independent Sample T-Test hypothesis test showed that the value of (2−) was (0.000) < (0.05), meaning 0 = rejected and 1 = accepted. Thus, the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) learning model can be used as one of the alternatives in mathematical learning to improve students' mathematical communication skills.
2024-02-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICS EDUCATION https://ejournal.universitasmandiri.ac.id/index.php/joume/article/view/67 PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CONNECTED MATHEMATICS PROJECT (CMP) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS SISWA 2023-11-01T02:42:07+00:00 Reva Andini Aulidan revaandini622@gamil.com M. Iqbal Harisuddin akyssa.2@gmail.com Euis Anih euisanihrangga@gmail.com
This research was motivated by students' low mathematical representation abilities. This research aims to obtain information and an overview regarding improving students' mathematical representation abilities after implementing the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning model. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method (Quasi Experiment) with the first class being given learning using the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning model and the second class as the control class being given a conventional learning model. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Pagaden with a sample of class XI MIPA 1 as the experimental class and XI MIPA 2 as the control class. The material provided is about Linear Programs. The instrument used in the research is a test instrument in the form of essay questions with a pretest-posttest technique. Based on the results, it shows that the increase in students' mathematical representation abilities using the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning model is better than conventional learning with an average of (0.54 > 0.31). Thus, the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning model can be used as an alternative in mathematics learning to improve students' mathematical representation abilities.
2024-02-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICS EDUCATION https://ejournal.universitasmandiri.ac.id/index.php/joume/article/view/65 PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN RELATING, EXPERIENCING, APPLYING, COOPERATING, TRANSFERRING (REACT) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA 2023-11-01T02:26:19+00:00 Ratih Sri Kurnia ratihsrikurnia@gmail.com Ika Sriyanti ikasriyanti@universitasmandiri.ac.id Muhammad Taufik Mauliddin muhamadtaufikmaulidin@gmail.com
This research aims to find out whether the increase in mathematical problem solving abilities of students who receive the REACT learning strategy is better than students who receive conventional learning. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental quasi-experimental method with the research type The Nonequivalent Control Group Design with a proportional sampling technique. The population in this study were all class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Subang with a sample of class VIII C as the experimental class of 34 students and class VIII D as the control class of 34 students. The instruments used in this research consisted of two types, namely test instruments in the form of pretest-posttest. The resulting data was then analyzed with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 23 for Windows software. From the results of the analysis carried out with a significance level of 5% with a two-mean test using the t-test, the results obtained have a 2-tailed sig value of 0.00 < 0.05. This shows that the increase in mathematical problem solving abilities of students who received the REACT learning strategy was significantly better than students who received conventional learning. Thus, REACT learning can be used as an alternative in mathematics learning to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities.
2024-02-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICS EDUCATION https://ejournal.universitasmandiri.ac.id/index.php/joume/article/view/63 Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending (Core) Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Representasi Matematis Siswa 2023-11-01T02:12:12+00:00 Ratih Siti Suminar ratihsiti02@gmail.com Handri Wijaya handristkipsubang@gmail.com Muhammad Taufik Mauliddin muhammadtaufikmauliddin@gmail.com
This research aims to obtain information and an overview regarding improving students' mathematical representation abilities after implementing the connecting, organizing, reflecting, extending (CORE) learning model.
