This research aims to find out whether the improvement in mathematical
reasoning abilities of students who use Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type
cooperative learning is better than students who use conventional learning. The research
method used was quasi-experimental with the Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control
Group Design type. The population in this study were all students at SMP Negeri 3
Subang, with a sample of class VIII I as the experimental class of 33 students and class
VIII G as the control class of 34 students. The instruments used consisted of a pretestposttest test and a Likert scale to measure student learning motivation. Data were
analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0 For Windows software. The results of the
analysis with a significance level of 5% using the t-test show that the increase in
mathematical reasoning abilities of students who receive STAD type cooperative learning
is significantly better than students who receive conventional learning (sig. 2-tailed 0.002 <
0.05) meaning H0 = rejected H1 = accepted. This indicates that students have a positive
influence on STAD type cooperative learning, thus can be used as an alternative in
mathematics learning to improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities.
Mila Khoiriah, Anwar Sadat, Muhammad Iqbal Harisuddin

https://ejournal.universitasmandiri.ac.id/index.php/joume/article/view/107

This research in purposed to determine the difference in improving mathematical communication skills between students who receive the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model and students who receive conventinal learning model. Beside that, the students’ responses to the application of the TPS learning model were also analyse. The method used in this research is the quasi-experimental method with The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research design. The population in this reseach were all the students of class XI IPS, taking samples used Purposive Sampling technique which is class XI IPS 2 choosen as experimental class and XI IPS 3 as class control. Test instrument are used to measure students’ mathematical communication skills, while non-test instruments are used to determine student responses to application of the TPS learning model. Based on research result, it shows that (1) the increase in mathematical communication skill of students who receive the TPS learning model is significantly higher than students who receive the conventional learning model; (2) Positive response to the implementation of the TPS learning model.
Dhea Dara Agustin, Euis Anih, Handri Wijaya

https://ejournal.universitasmandiri.ac.id/index.php/joume/article/view/112

This research is motivated by the low mathematical problem-solving ability of students. This study aims to determine the difference between the improvement of mathematical problem-solving skills of students who obtained the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model and students who obtained the conventional learning model and to find out the students' response to the application of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental experiment with a Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research design. The population in this study is all students of grade XI of SMAN 3 Subang with sampling using Purposive Sampling, namely Class XI-5 as the experimental class and class XI-2 as the control class. The instruments used are test instruments in the form of Pretest-Posttest to measure students' mathematical problem-solving skills, and non-test instruments in the form of questionnaires to determine students' responses to the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model. Based on the results of this study, the results were obtained that: (1) the improvement of mathematical problem-solving ability of students who obtained the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model was higher than that of students who obtained the conventional learning model; (2) students showed a positive response to the application of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model.
Santi Kartini, Ahmad Firdaus, Muhammad Iqbal Harisuddin

https://ejournal.universitasmandiri.ac.id/index.php/joume/article/view/118

The use of modern technology today allows students to be more active and creative in participating in learning activities. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an increase in students' mathematical creative thinking abilities using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model compared to ordinary learning, and to find out students' responses to mathematics learning. This research uses a quasi-experimental quantitative approach model with the Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research design. Data collection used was through test (pretest-posttest) and non-test (questionnaire) techniques. The data source or sample for this research was class X students of SMKN 1 Subang for the 2023-2024 academic year with a sample of 70 people. The procedures used to process this data are the normality test, homogeneity test, t test (independent sample t-test), and the Man Whitney U test. The results of the research show that the CPS model can significantly improve students' creative thinking abilities compared to the control class. get a normal learning model. Overall students responded positively to learning using the CPS model.
Ayu Nurmalasari, Handri Wijaya, M. Taufik Maulidin

https://ejournal.universitasmandiri.ac.id/index.php/joume/article/view/135

This research aims to determine the increase in students' mathematical communication
skills in the experimental class and control class after implementing the Teams Games Tournament
(TGT) type cooperative learning model in the experimental class and the regular learning model in
the control class and to find out how students respond to the TGT type cooperative learning model.
. The research method used is an experimental nonequipalent control group design. The population
in this study were all class VII students at SMPN 2 Dawuan. Sampling was taken using purposive
sampling, the samples used were class VII B students as the experimental class and class VII A
students as the control class. Based on the data obtained, it shows that the TGT type cooperative
learning model has an influence on improving students' mathematical communication skills. It can
also be seen from the results of statistical tests using N-Gain data showing that the increase in
communication skills of students who use the TGT type learning model is better than students who
use regular learning, namely 0.56>0.26. The average student response was 3.6 which was shown
to be positive because students showed interest in learning mathematics and showed interest in
learning using the TGT type cooperative learning model.
Nita Amelia Nita, Ika Sriyanti, Handri Wijaya

https://ejournal.universitasmandiri.ac.id/index.php/joume/article/view/153

Abstract: This research aims to examine the effect of using flashcard media on mathematics learning outcomes in elementary schools, especially on fractions. This research uses quantitative data. To obtain this data, quantitative data collection was carried out using a test that adopted a Pretest and Posttest with Control Group design. The research results show that there is an influence of the use of flashcard media on mathematics learning achievement. This can be seen from the analysis results which show the average pretest scores in the control class and experimental class are 24.85 and 26.03. The pretest scores between the two classes have the same tendency, with a difference of 1.18. Meanwhile, the average posttest scores for the control class and experimental class were 68.42 and 94.32. This shows that the learning outcomes of the experimental class increased more significantly compared to the control class, with a difference of 25.9. This difference shows the influence of the learning media applied to students which ultimately influences their learning outcomes. In the hypothesis test, the calculated t value was 2.272 which was greater than the t table value of 2.048. Thus, flashcard media is effective in improving students' numeracy skills, especially in fraction material.
Ratna Wahyuni, Haryati Ahda Nasution

https://ejournal.universitasmandiri.ac.id/index.php/joume/article/view/161

This research aims to find out the learning motivation of students who receive
the Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) learning model. The population in this study
were all class VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Subang with a sample of class VII B as the
experimental class and class VII D as the control class. Based on the results of data
processing, 71% of students gave very high, high and moderate learning motivation
towards mathematics learning using the CTL learning model. Thus, the Contextual
Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model can be used as an alternative in
mathematics learning to improve mathematical reasoning abilities. student.
Ratna Sari, Muhammad Iqbal Harisuddin, Anwar Sadat
